Multi-Level Backyard Deck with Staircase Access

Multi-level backyard deck, build to give the home a functional, durable outdoor space , complete with a full staircase run down to the yard and a clean white decking finish that complements the home’s exterior.

Project Overview

This build added a wraparound deck along the back of the home, framed to handle the change in grade with a wide staircase connecting the upper deck level down to ground level. The decking surface was finished in white composite boards, chosen to match the home’s trim and hold up against weather without the upkeep real wood requires.

The layout gives the homeowner direct access from multiple points of the house to the backyard, with railings running the full perimeter for safety at the elevated sections.

Scope of Work & Executed Services

• Partial Demolition & Site Protection: Carefully dismantled crumbling top brick courses while securing the surrounding roof surface with heavy-duty tarps and safety rigging.

• Composite Decking Installation: Installed white composite decking boards for a clean, weather-resistant finish that matches the home’s exterior

• Multi-Run Staircase Build: Constructed a full staircase run connecting the upper deck to grade level, built to code for safe daily use.

• Railing Installation: Installed white railings along the elevated sections of the deck for safety and a finished look.
• Site Grading & Landscaping Touch-Up: Finished the surrounding area with grading and landscaping cleanup to blend the new structure into the yard.
